Can We Just Be Bad at Something?

I’ve been thinking.

When did having a hobby become another job?

You enjoy photography? Start a business.

You like baking? Sell your cakes.

You play games? Become a streamer.

Seriously?

I see so many young adults trying to study, work, save money and improve themselves.

Now even having fun needs to be productive?

Don’t get me wrong. Making money from a hobby is great.

But what if I just want to paint something ugly and hang it on my wall?

Does everything we enjoy need to make money?

I don’t think so.

And whoever invented the idea that every hobby needs a business plan probably needs a hobby.
